The small boy named the Pike Twirler was walking down one of the larger halls of the grand place that was the Hollow Bastion. He walked with a bit of a skip in his step, and as he did he wondered of the things he could do in the castle with his friend, Arthur the Pike, who was hovering by his side. He had always felt a strange need to clean everything in the castle, to make it look as shiny as possible. Not that the palace that he lived in now was not already spotlessly beautiful. But there was still a nagging feeling within the boy that made him think he should clean his new home to make sure it was spotless. He was torn and unsure of what he really wanted to do. There were so many other things that could be done within the large castle. Such as fixing his outfits, waxing Arthur, or better yet making cookies for himself. He turned to his friend that floated just a few feet beside him for help.
"What do you think we should do, Arthur?" The Pike Twirler beamed happily at the inanimate object, imagining Arthur's response to him. He let out a small giggle to his friend and nodded at the silence "Good idea Arthur! I can always count on you!"
The boy had made his decision for himself. Thanks to Arthur, he knew he was too hungry to do any real work and finish it correctly. So he was off to the kitchen, In hopes of making a giant cookie. The Pike Twirler wanted to find the kitchen and the ingredients to make such a cookie. The Boy smiled to himself as he walked along the halls of the grand castle daydreaming of what he could do when making his cookies. He asked himself questions as he pranced, what would he put in it, how big would he make them, was he in the mood for small bite sized cookies or giant Godzilla cookies. As he pranced through the halls daydreaming he was slowly getting himself and Arthur lost till he finally ran into someone head first and stumbled back.
"I'm sorry sir!" He had said, "Sir," in hopes that the person he ran into was a male. He had lowered his head in apology too quickly to see who it was that he did run into. However now he wished he didn't, for now he could be yelled at for more than just running into someone.
